Omori's experts make the most of their extensive experience and accumulated knowledge to handle import/export procedures appropriately. To provide our customers with correct and effective services, our in-house information processing systems are linked with the Nippon Automated Cargo Clearance System (NACCS) and other related systems.

Omori has built its own facilities at the five big ports, the gateways for import/export to/from Japan, in order to speedily and safely transfer cargo between the customers and carriers or deliver cargo to the customers. Omori uses its own cargo handling facilities to handle all sorts of cargo, irrespective of their dimensions, weight or lot size.

Omori operates multi-purpose distribution centers each consisting of an electrically driven storage rack, hanger storage system, constant-temperature warehouse, room for assorting goods and managing assorted goods, inspection room and other work spaces. These distribution centers allow such distribution processing services as inspection of and attaching labels to clothes, foods and other miscellaneous goods.

Over a number of years, Omori has been engaged in consolidated ocean transport and other international intermodal transport services for various types of cargo ranging from project cargo to small-lot cargo. For these transport services, Omori uses a worldwide business network. To add value to its international intermodal transport services, Omori combines distribution processing services with transport services.

Omori's information system is interfaced with customers' information processing systems through the Nippon Automated Cargo Clearance System (NACCS), a harbor electronic data interchange (EDI) system and other systems. To meet present-day customer needs, Omori's information system is also linked to a trade finance EDI system and the information processing systems in our overseas offices through the Internet.
